WHAT TO EXPECT

Consultation and Introductory Laser Treatment

A laser Therapy Practitioner will meet to prescribe a personalized treatment plan based on the assessment, diagnosis if determined by a doctor and the severity of the condition.

The treatment time is based on the condition or illness, size and number of areas treated. The number of treatments will depend on the diagnosis and your body's response to the treatment.

Treatment Application

A threshold baseline laser treatment will be administered with an applicator that hovers over the affected area. Treatment must be administered directly to exposed skin, as laser light cannot penetrate through layers of clothing.

During the treatment, you will feel a soothing warmth that identifies the beginning of an 18-24 hour process of modulated cellular activity leading

to decreased pain and inflammation. The laser is flooding the tissue with photons, which energizes cells resulting in increased circulation

to the

injured area and ultimately pain reduction.

After Treatment

Some clients feel an immediate response to the treatment while others require 3-5 treatment sessions to feel a significant change.

You can expect-

  • Reduced swelling and inflammation in target tissue both deep and superficial.

  • Immediate pain and discomfort reduction from the decrease in inflammation.

  • Enhanced mobility and flexibility in stiff joints.

  • Reduced muscle tightness and spasms.

  • An accelerated recovery.

Report of Findings

We will discuss the results of the assessment, how many sessions you may need to determine a personalized plan. Depending on

the condition or illness, average suggestions are two-three times per week for a range of three to six weeks for maximum

recovery. Maintenance treatments may be suggested based on the condition.

Lastly, we will prescribe a course of action for proper treatment and outline the cost and schedule your treatments.
